Weight Loss Program
Losing weight can be a very frustrating task. Research shows that 80% of people who lose weight gain it all back within one year, 85% of people who lose weight gain it all back within two years, and 95% of people who lose weight gain it all back within three years. Even more frustrating is research that shows that, of the 95% who gain back all the weight they lost, between 1/3 and 2/3 of them actually gain back more weight than before they originally started their diet.
This points to one HUGE factor....your weight loss program MUST be sustainable. Your weight loss program CANNOT be a 12 week fad to lose a few pounds. It CANNOT be a short-term eating pattern so that you look better for your beach vacation in a few months. Your weight loss program MUST be a new sustainable approach to life.
Everyone's approach to weight loss needs to be different because everyone leads a different life. One person, for example, who works 20-hour work-shifts three times a week may not be able to follow the same weight loss plan as a person who works a 9-5 job or another person who travels 4 days a week. Your weight loss program must be customized to you. While the approach to weight loss may differ from person to person, the science does NOT differ. Weight loss occurs for one reason only...CALORIES EXPENDED ARE GREATER THAN CALORIES CONSUMED. Numerous scientific studies prove that it does NOT matter if you use low carb, high carb, keto, low fat, high fat, carnivore, paleo, intermittent fasting, etc. There is NO difference in weight loss between any of these programs when calories are equated in each program.
What does matter is the amount energy coming into your body, the amount of energy going out of your body, and adjusting your approach as these things change. Yes, adjusting is HUGE! Yes, these things do change! Your metabolism, for example, is constantly changing speed, especially when you are dieting. You MUST understand the real SCIENCE behind this and learn how to adjust your approach so that you continue to lose weight. Otherwise you will end up as a statistic like those in the opening paragraph above. Have you ever heard someone say that they were losing weight, but then the weight loss stopped? That is often because their metabolism changed and they did not change their approach.
In order to successfully lose weight and keep it off you need education to learn the science and then a coach to help you recognize what is happening with your body and make adjustments at the appropriate time and in a healthy way.
If any of this sounds like it applies to you and your goals then fill out the questionnaire below. I will read it carefully. If it sounds like you are the type of person that I can help I will contact you and perhaps we can discuss your situation further.
