HUMAN EVOLUTION AND SUNLIGHT
Between 60,000 to 80,000 years ago humans began migrating out of Africa and away from the equator. Since that time, evolution resulted in lighter skin color, blue eyes, and blonde hair. These are adaptations that all involve sunlight, melanin, and POMC.
Melanin and the POMC gene (which I have talked about in many posts) are what separate humans from all other mammals. We have evolved to directly use sunlight to power our huge frontal lobes that no other mammals have. POMC is cleaved by light into very important proteins. One of those proteins is alpha-MSH, which makes melanin. Melanin absorbs all wavelengths of EMF (light), and it creates a DC electric current in the body. It's not just on the skin. It's in the brain, and it is a result of the retinal pathway and light through the eyes. Your brain runs on melanin.
But modern humans have moved indoors. We get very little sunlight compared to what we require. Worse yet, we employ artificial light in our homes, offices, and schools. This artificial light cleaves POMC in a way that produces massive amounts of glucose and insulin, and this leads to lots of modern diseases.
The amount of sunlight you require depends on your haplotype. If your mitochondrial DNA (which is a totally separate genome from nuclear DNA) is closely descended from equatorial regions then your skin is likely darker and you need massive amounts of UV and infrared sunlight all day long compared to your lighter skinned friends. If you don't get that sunlight then you are at a much higher risk of disease.
Our society has socially pitted us against each other by having us believe health inequities are a result of social constructs. That is WRONG. These health disparities are the result of living in the wrong sunlight environment for your haplotype. Generally, the darker your skin, eyes, and hair, the closer you need to be to the equator in order to avoid disease.
Stop believing the government narrative that keeps us divided, and start understanding nature again.
